Introduction to Montriond
MONTRIOND, in the MORZINE-AVORIAZ's neighbourhood, is a little village with about 750 inhabitants, situated in la Vallée D'Aulps.
In Winter, MONTRIOND is a sportive station and the opening door of the Portes du Soleil's ski field (12 ski stations between France and Switzerland - 650 km of tracks). The access to the hameau des Lindarets (turning plate that serves theAvoriaz, Châtel and Switzerland's stations) is done by delpher -Start Ardent (5 minutes by car of free shuttle 50 mètres away from the house).
Ski touring: a 10 kilometers ski touring buckle is drawn arround the icy MONTRIOND lake until the hameau des Albertans and another 6 kilometers buckle is drawn at the Dranse edge, between MONTRIOND and MORZINE. Other circuits exist on MORZINE.
Excursions in rackets, under the ice (lake of MONTRIOND), parapente, will make your happiness without forgetting the guided visits and the gastronomy.
In Summer, MONTRIOND is particulary searched for its natural lake with its part "fitted up bathing" and for the LINDARETS with its famous Village des Chèvres. Pedestral excursions, Biking, tennis, archery, canoe-kayak with rafting releases, evening animations, guided visits in la Vallée, gastronomy will easily complete your stay.
